Images of Power

Students will get to analyze the use of imagery to symbolize the power of ancient kings and compare those images to those of modern famous men, either politically or culturally important figures.

For Grade Level(s):  8–12

LESSON 2
Should Church and State be Separated?

Students will analyze the fundamental American political principle of separation of church and state by researching the impact of religion in ancient rulership.

For Grade Level(s):  8–12

Time Needed:  1–5 class periods
