Kasbah of the Udayas
The Kasbah of the Udayas is a fortress in Rabat, Morocco. It was built during the reign of the Almohads. When the Almohads captured Rabat and destroyed the Almoravids’ fortress in the town, they began reconstructing it in 1150 CE. The fortress was deserted at the end of the twelfth century with death of the Almohad leader, Ya’qub al-Mansur.
